  • Community Cuts, an event born from the North Central Chamber of Commerce Community Leader Institute program, is giving free haircuts Sunday May 22nd from 10am-2pm at Green Street park.

  • Community Cuts have partnered with licensed professionals from Clippers & Co., Ash & Ash and His & Her just to name a few to give free haircuts to anyone who wants one. There will be music, food, games and access to different resources. Christian Lopez, The spokesperson for Community Cuts said “We want everyone feeling good when leaving this event and the first step to feeling good is looking good.”

WHEN: Saturday May 7TH, 2022, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

WHERE: Fitchburg Fire Department, 33 North Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC SPONSORED BY CHARLES W. MOORE LODGE

The Child Identification Program (CHIP) is open for infants, children, and young adults (up to 18 years old). It is recommended that teenagers update their information annually.

All identification information will be given to the Parent/ Legal guardian to keep for use in the event your child should ever go missing. The MYCHIP program does NOT involve microchips and all data gathered is only saved on YOUR thumb drive. For more information, please visit www.mychip.org/

The Fitchburg F.D. will be holding an open house and a smoke house demo. There will be face painting and clowns from the Aleppo Shriners.

Our Free Program Provides the Following Materials:

VIDEO: A brief videotape (USB Card) interview that can be quickly distributed to the media to reach a huge audience.

FINGERPRINTING AND DNA SWAB: Fingerprinting is a well-known means of identification. Resourceful parents keep fingerprints available should the need arise. DNA like figure prints are unique to each individual.

TOOTHPRINTS: A tooth print bite impression is quick and easy. Teeth, like fingerprints are unique. A

dental imprint gives both accurate and important information for identification purposes.
